I live in Nottingham England and have been resident here all my life. Despite gaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering at De Montfort University Leicester, I am still very much a believer in 'The Paranormal' regardless of my logical upbringing. Photography has always fascinated me especially the variety of unexplained 'Paranormal Images' that mysteriously appear on photographic materials. Although a lot of it can be explained ; there is still a 'hard core' which defies explanation. Having an analytical background , gives me a diagnostic approach to these matters to such an extent that I refuse to be fobbed off with explanations that offer no credibility.
'The Cyprus Apparition' which you are about to view has been acclaimed to be caused by stray light entering the barrel of the lens by opinion of 'The Society For Psychical Research'.
The picture is joint copywrite between myself and 'The Fortean Picture Library' and has appeared in a number of publications together with an appearance on American Television. I offer you the opportunity to view a few of these pictures which are considered as the finest ! I welcome correspondence , especially from publishers and any party who is willing to study and validate my claims of originality and authenticity.
For all those out there interested in ghosts; here is a photograph taken by my uncle in Canterbury Cathedral in 1993. On a day trip to Kent he decided to visit the Cathedral together with my auntie. He tells me that he just wanted to photograph the room and never noticed the gliding figure. Although he smokes, he categorically denies smoking in the cathedral. The authenticity of the picture is supported by the reflection from the flash and also draped cloth can be seen from the hip of the gliding figure. This must be one of the best original ghost pictures I have ever seen.
'The Gliding Priest Of Canterbury Cathedral'
During my summer vacation in Cyprus on the 23rd September 1986; I decided to take a picture of Limassol Bay. What appears to be a path is in actual fact a wall. This wall is one metre wide and just under one metre high. It's length is approx half a mile and extends to the port of Limassol. I was taken aback by the beauty of the harbour lights and decided to take a picture using a seventeen second time exposure. Standing on the wall; I mounted my tripod and took the picture making sure that there were no obstacles to spoil the picture. Unfortunately, I could not contain the full view so I decided to take a second picture. My camera was a Olympus OM10 fitted with a Zuiko 50mm lens. The camera was loaded with Kodachrome transparency film. When the film was returned from Kodak; the strange figure was noticed on one of the pictures, the other photograph appeared perfectly normal. The head is too dark to be seen but is quite noticeable on the original. Shadow detail is related to the background shadows which helps to authenticate this image. Sceptics have declared that somebody had walked up to the camera wearing a polo-neck jumper. This is highly unlikely the fact that the night temperature was around 28 deg. C. To the right of the picture is the sea separated by boulders.

My Opinionated View
It was once considered that spirit entities and aliens from the spirit world were responsible for this type of phenomenon. I have spent many years researching Ghosts, U.F.O.s and Alien Visitations. Despite how much I would have liked to accept the notion that we are visited by entities from other worlds and departed souls from the spirit world; I have concluded that this is not so ! A very high proportion of all phenomenon including spiritualism is generally connected with elemental activity. This is not to say that this activity is always mischievous in nature. Far from it ! The elemental gods have long reigned with man since the beginning of time. From the gods of Olympus to the elfs in the garden, these entities are neutral and feed from the aspirations of man. Whether we consider them as spacemen, angels guardians or just plain spirit guides; they are tailored to what we expect.
How Do These Images Occur ?
Some of these images are produced by the time variable of the shutter speed of the camera. Time is an abstract; yet we know it exists. To us; it is likened to a 'Fourth Dimension' but to the 'Elemental World' it is part of their environment. When the camera shutter is activated, the photographer views his solid surroundings which reflect light relative to their density and surface finish. I believe that if molecular vibrations are increased, then the distance between particles will increase. A trace would result in the course of time allowing an image to be slowly built up on film yet appear invisible to the photographer.
